Our privacy policy

Last updated Nov 7, 2026

In short: our games tell us how they run so we can make them better. We never sell anything, and you can opt out here at any time.

Seeing your data and opting out

Sign in with Steam under Your data below to see your data, download it, opt out (or back in), or anonymise it right away. Opting out counts for all our games from their next start. Anonymising can't be undone, and afterwards you can't see or download the data. It's on the website so you can always reach it, even from your phone, and the Steam sign-in proves the data is yours.

What our games collect

Only our games whose Steam page links to this policy collect data. Most of it is about how the game runs, not about you, but it counts as personal data under the GDPR because it's linked to your Steam account.

  • Your Steam account, as a scrambled ID, plus Steam details like achievements, language and Family Sharing.
  • What you do in the game and how it runs: playtime, which levels you play, which items you use, which menus you open, where you are and where you die, plus frame rate and load times.
  • Your hardware, input device and settings. No serial numbers or device IDs.
  • Your country and region (we never keep your IP address). Worked out with DB-IP (db-ip.com(opens in new tab)).
  • Crash reports, with the end of the game's log.

Never your name, email, payment details or messages. We never record what you type, and nothing outside the game.

This website and Discord

  • The contact form sends us the email address you enter, your message and any PDF you attach. The site has no tracking cookies, analytics or ads; signing in here sets one cookie for 1 hour.
  • The mailing list in the footer keeps your email address and the site's language, only to email you news about our games (new games, big updates and sales, a few times a year at most). You confirm by email first; unconfirmed addresses are deleted after 7 days. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address. The emails go out through our email host, Strato (Germany).
  • Our Discord key bot stores your Discord ID, the keys it gave you and, for /request, the channel it checked.

Why

To fix bugs and crashes, balance the games, fix problems on certain hardware, choose languages and prices, and act on feedback you give in Steam reviews and posts. It's based on our legitimate interest in improving our games, so it's on by default.

Where it's stored and for how long

On our server at Strato in Germany (EU). Summaries across many players may also be kept on GitHub (USA). Your data stays linked to your account for up to 24 months after you last play. Then it's anonymised automatically, and we may keep the anonymised data.

Sharing

We don't share or sell your data, and we don't show ads.

Who's responsible

Four Games (Sweden). Questions: ask us on Discord (discord.fourgames.se(opens in new tab)), or email our email address. You can also contact IMY(opens in new tab), the Swedish data protection authority.

Your data

Sign in with Steam to see what our games have sent us, download it, opt out or anonymise it.

See and control your data

Sign in with the Steam account you play on. You'll see a summary for each of our games, and you can download your data, opt out or anonymise it.

You sign in on Steam's own website. Steam only tells us your account ID, never your password.

Anonymise your data?

All the data we have for your Steam account gets a new random ID that nothing links back to you, and data collection is turned off.

This can't be undone. Afterwards the data is no longer connected to you, so you can't see it or download it any more.

Want a copy? Cancel and download your data first.
